The final meeting and conference of the joint project of the Southern University Association, Katla Geopark, The Holy Cross Mountains Geopark and the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow took place in Kielce during the week of 25-29. September 2023.
The project aims to promote knowledge in the field of geology Objective of the project wasto develop new studyslime at the master’s level “Geotourism and Earthquakes” (Geotourism spirit Geoparks) in the Department of Earth, Geophysics and Environmental Sciences The University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Poland in collaboration with the University Association of the South. Vyears because the project developed with the needs of the working world in mind, where professional education and training would support knowledge and mediation about earth heritager and geological heritage (geological heritage) by parties working in connection with it, including tourism providers, teachers, guides, tour operators and miscellaneoussome non-profit organizationabout (NGO). The project will therefore be useful to improve quality and promote aprofessional university education in the field of geotourism and geological education (geoeducation) which will be useful in a wider context for more countries, including Iceland.
