At the end of each semester, H\u00e1sk\u00f3lf\u00e9lag Su\u00f0urland conducts a survey among graduates regarding interest in further studies after matriculation, and the survey is conducted in collaboration with all secondary and high schools in Su\u00f0urland. The survey is anonymous, but the new student service representative, El\u00ednborg Ingimundard\u00f3ttir,<\/a><\/strong> drew prize winners from a pool with the email addresses of all those who registered. The prize was ISK 5,000. a gift certificate at a store or restaurant in the student’s hometown. The winner of autumn 2023 this time was a student from Fj\u00f6lbrautarsk\u00f3li Su\u00f0urland, and he has received a notification to that effect.<\/p>\n

One of the main goals of HfSu is to increase the quality of life and strengthen the economy in the South by building a knowledge society. Two of the company’s main goals are to improve Southerners’ access to education and to promote research and academic work in the South in cooperation with Icelandic and foreign schools.<\/p>\n

As a result, HfSu is very ambitious to further strengthen its services to students and to be able to invite students to do their studies in “local studies” in their home area even though the teaching is done as distance learning\/mixed learning, thus contributing to the development of higher education in the region. The student survey is therefore intended to collect data on students’ desire for further studies after graduation, as well as where\/how they want to pursue their studies.<\/p>\n

The survey helps HfSU monitor the student’s desire for further studies and their interest in distance learning, which can be pursued even if the residence is in the South.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
