On Sunday, November 3rd, a multicultural festival was held in Aratunga in Reykholt, entitled “Multi Cultural Festival”. <\/div>
The festival aimed to introduce all the ethnic groups that live and work in Uppsveitur \u00c1rness\u00fdsla. At the festival, individuals and families could be seen introducing their country and nation through various crafts, food and drink, or music. There were also organizations and companies in the area that introduced their activities to visitors and passersby. <\/div>

The University Association of South Iceland was not left out, and the speakers Ingunn J\u00f3nsd\u00f3ttir and Helga Krist\u00edn S\u00e6bj\u00f6rnsd\u00f3ttir introduced their activities at the festival and distributed a brochure about the Job Bridge, which has been a focus project of the year in collaboration with the Parish Plan for South Iceland. <\/div>

It can truly be said that there was a lot of life and excitement in Aratunga and we look forward to participating in the next multicultural festival and introducing the University of South Iceland to even more ethnic groups. <\/div>
