Participants of the Atvinnubr\u00far were invited to visit the \u00c1rnesingar Art Museum in Hverager\u00f0i, on Wednesday, November 6th. <\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The \u00c1rnesinga Art Museum is a partner of Atvinnubr\u00fa and has been working diligently to promote the project this fall in various ways. Director Krist\u00edn Scheving invited us to visit on Wednesday, November 6th and guided us through the history of the museum. The \u00c1rnesinga Art Museum is owned by the \u00c1rnesinga District Committee. All municipalities in \u00c1rness\u00fdsla are members of the museum, which however dates back to a donation by Mrs. Bjarnveigur Bjarnad\u00f3ttir and her sons in the years 1963 \u2013 1986. <\/p>

There is no cost to visit the museum located at Austurm\u00f6rk 21 in Hverager\u00f0i and everyone can find something to their liking. The exhibitions are diverse and you can find works by both Icelandic and foreign artists, solo exhibitions and collaborative projects to name a few. Children are welcome and there are facilities to sit down to work, study or meet in the building. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

It is safe to say that seeing is richer in history and of course it is always more enjoyable to walk into the exhibition spaces and experience sound, light and image firsthand.
