The South Iceland Science and Research Fund has now officially opened the application process and the portal will be open until the 5th of June. January 2025. <\/p>

Each application is reviewed by an evaluation committee, but the requirements are that the project is a research project leading to a BA\/BS or equivalent degree or higher. You can view the fund rules here.<\/a><\/strong> <\/p>

The grant recipients will be announced in February, but in recent years the President of Iceland has formally presented the grant. We encourage as many people as possible who are working on interesting projects that have a clear Southern Icelandic connection to apply.
