Ingunn joined us on January 1st. 2013, first as a joint employee of the University Association and Matís, but since March 2016, she has been working full-time for the University Association. Ingunn took over as the company’s managing director on August 15, 2021.
Ingunn has managed projects such as the Job Fair , Around Southland and the development of Vocational University courses in collaboration with the University of Iceland, but has also been involved in foreign collaborative projects related to small-scale production, education and regional development.
Ingunn has a BA degree in product design from the Iceland Academy of the Arts and an MPM degree (Master in Project Managing) from the University of Reykjavík, in addition to having taken courses at the Open University in human resource management and teamwork.
