Signing, opening and presentation of Hreiðrin.
On the 25th October , Nýheimar knowledge centers held a job presentation in Höfn, but similar staff presentations have been held there and in other places in the South throughout the years.
Among the presenters was the University Association of Suðurland, which presented Heiðrið frumkvöðsetur, a collaborative project on networking for entrepreneurs in Suðurland. In Hreiðrin, entrepreneurs can get advice and guidance about the jungle that awaits them at the start of their journey, as well as having access to work facilities and a community of other entrepreneurs. The opportunity was also used to sign a cooperation agreement on the project between the Municipality of Hornafjörður, the University Association of Suðurland and the Nýheima knowledge center.
Hugrún Harpa and Kristín Vala at Nýheim will be in the role of entrepreneurial “leaders” and will welcome those interested in a chat and reflection on innovative projects. Work facilities will be available on the upper floor of Midbær, as well as facilities in the Warehouse/FabLab available to entrepreneurs.
It is our hope that this assistance and facilities will benefit entrepreneurs in Höfn and will promote the entrepreneurial community to good deeds.
